Hello everybody!

As I promissed you last week, today we are continuing my magic adventure in a world of colorful makeup. If you want to read about the first part of this awesome event, I am inviting you to check out this post.

So this is how the second part of my adventure began.
I was invited to the Inglot Boutique Miami Beach the next day too and being in the full Miami Swim Week, I'd thought to challenge the talented Inglot makeup team to make me a summer look that would successfully resist in a hot Miami sun at a fashion show.

This time the one who took care of my makeup was ”la bella Gina” - as I was calling her - please check her page and her amazing work. As I was explaining her what I am thinking about my makeup, she immediately knew and she decided to create a fun, colorful, makeup look, where the accent was on my eyes.

The products that were used for my makeup:

Gina warmed up my skin tone a little, just like Christina did the other day. She created a colorful summer look, yet natural, ready to be worn in the Miami's hot and humid atmosphere at a fashion show. Maybe you have noticed that I was using again the mattifying powder and after using it for two days in a row, I do like how it worked on my skin, given the weather here in Miami.

And this was my final look.
Isn't that green utterly beautiful? I am so happy that now it is part of my makeup collection.

When I am at a makeup session, my blogger's nature comes out and I must ask questions about makeup techniques, products, take pictures, I have to know and to document everything. So, I took advantage that MUA Gina was doing my makeup and I asked her, what makeup products would she recommend for a fair skin tone like mine in this summer season.

Down below you can see her recommendations and the secret key word is - WATERPROOF makeup.

My amazing adventure ended with the two fashion shows, part of the Mercedes-Benz Miami Swim Week 2014 that I've attended: one at The National Hotel, where I came to support my fellow beauty bloggers and another one at the W Hotel with the Inglot team.

Later at night I went to another amazing fashion show at the W Hotel South Beach. I had a fabulous time with the Inglot team back stage where they did all the makeup for the show, I've met amazing people like the famous artist Anastasia the Great who painted with 24k gold foil, Edward J. Oberle Lopez - the wonderful person behind this event and I had a blast at the show. I couldn't be more grateful for all this!

Hello everybody!

This past week had been an amazing one for me, it was like a beautiful and restful dream from which you don't want to wake up. I have so many wonderful moments to share with you, so this post will be structured in two parts.

Everything started with the Inglot Boutique Miami Beach Swim Week Beauty Lounge event, where I had such an amazing time, I was pampered with beauty makeup sessions (yes, sessions!), I got to play with makeup and test their products and, the best of all, I've met some great people that are now very dear to my soul.

Personally, I have heard of this brand before, I have read about its products, but never had the chance to test, try them. This event was the perfect occasion to get my hands on these products.

The Inglot Boutique is located in the heart of Miami Beach, on the 8th Street between Washington and Collins, to be more specific - 224 Miami Beach. The beauty boutique is the ideal place for a pampering makeup session, carefree, where all your problems, stress melt away. Everything invites you in, from the chic location, to glam and comfy decorations, to those awesome makeup products. It's like a mesmerizing journey into the world of colorful makeup.

Now let's talk about my makeup, shall we?

Beeing very excited to try the Inglot products, I talked to Christina - please check and support her page, she's an amazing makeup artist - to create my signature look, which is a natural one. When I saw their new Freedom System matte lipsticks, I immediately knew that it had to be a makeup with bold lips. Me & matte lipsticks = LOVE. Christina did an amazing job, it was definitely something new to try for me. I was so amazed by her incredible attention to details, patience (especially that my eyes were so sensitive when putting crayon on my waterline) and flawless work. I wish I could be as half as talented as her.

Because I am so fair, she went and warmed up a little my skin tone. Down below you could see the makeup products that were used for my makeup. I wanted very much to try their new mattifying powder. With all this crazy weather here in Miami, I need a good powder for my combination skin.

If you are wondering, the gorgeous lipstick that you see in these pictures (and you saw all over my Instagram account) is from the new Inglot range of Matte Lipsticks and this is number 516. It is so wonderful, so versatile, I can't get enough of it and I am so happy that I discovered it right here at Inglot.

No lady would miss a photo opportunity with Aaron :)

I just couldn't leave empty handed and abandon my beautiful matte lipstick behind, so I've bought my first Inglot products - the matte lipstick and a Freedom System palette so I can build my own customized beauty case. The matte lipstick was $9 and the freedom system palette $11, plus the applicable taxes. So excited! Also, I complimentary received the eyeshadows that were part of my makeup look - the Freedom System Shine Square Eyeshadow in number 08 and Freedom System Matte Square Eyeshadow in number 329. About the gorgeous green teal Freedom System Satin Rainbow Eyeshadow in number 135 I will talk more in my next post.

I had such an amazing time at this event! They invited me to participate the next day too, but more about those adventures, in my next post.

Do you know Inglot cosmetics? Have you tried their products?

Hello everybody!

You all know me as a beauty blogger, but deep down I am a foodie and it is always so nice to try new delicious dishes. Mexican food lovers MUST read this post, because I am bringing wonderful news.

Last week you've seen on my Instagram account - follow me - a series of pictures with delicous Mexican food and that was all possible because I was invited to an exclusive blogger event at Tijuana Flats, at their newest location in the beautiful Coconut Creek, Florida. I must thank Heather from Bloggin' Mamas for letting me know of this event and Sunshine for being such a great host. I was surprised to find out that this restaurant chain has had a rapid growth in their almost 20 years of activity (since 1995) and how they now have 100 restaurants in six different states.

I sure hope you ate already, because you'll be craving just by looking at the pictures down below.

The dinner started with the Atom Bombs - lightly fried tortillas, cream cheese, fresh jalapenos, ”Smack My Sweet Ass” and ”Call Me Sally” sauces. These tortillas were served with sweet chili sauce and sour cream, a great start for the next courses.

Then we had the delicous task to try the three new burritos, on the menu starting from tomorrow, 9th of July, burritos made with hemp seed tortillas, high in protein and Omega-3.

The first one was the Pie Roller - a pizza burrito with pepperoni, red sauce, mozzarella cheese (they call it power-light cheese), fajita peppers, onions and mushrooms. Everything toasted with red sauce, pepperoni and cheese. I liked the Pie Roller and how well all the ingredients worked together.

The second one was the Tree Hugger - a vegetarian hemp burrito with roasted poblanos, mushrooms, onions, cilantro, scallions, cream cheese, tortilla chips, cheese and queso. This one was my absolute favorite. Even though I am a meat lover, this vegetarian burrito exceeded all my expectations and that touch of cilantro made it ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. What can I say more? Yummy!

The third one was the Sweet Hemptation - Hemp tortilla filled with crispy chicken and churros, cinnamon sugar, maple syrup, queso, cheese, bacon and onions. This new burrito was my second favorite, and also Marian's favorite of them all. It was sure an interesting combination for me to feel all that sweetness and cinnamon in a main dish, but for real it was delicious.

The evening couldn't end up without something sweet and the Banana empanadas - two empanadas stuffed with bananas, cinnamon sugar, and topped with powdered sugar, served with a side of caramel sauce - certainly it was the desert I was expecting for to close this culinary feast.

Not only me and Marian enjoyed fresh and savoring new on the menu burritos, but we also met other bloggers and we had a wonderful time. Good food and nice people - that's my kind of event.

I have discovered a Tijuana Flats location on Biscayne Boulevard, closer to my home, which I plan to go there very soon. That vegetarian burrito calls my name.

Do you love Mexican food? Do you know Tijuana Flats?
