Hello everybody!


As I promissed you last week, today we are continuing my magic adventure in a world of colorful makeup. If you want to read about the first part of this awesome event, I am inviting you to check out this post.

So this is how the second part of my adventure began. 
I was invited to the Inglot Boutique Miami Beach the next day too and being in the full Miami Swim Week, I'd thought to challenge the talented Inglot makeup team to make me a summer look that would successfully resist in a hot Miami sun at a fashion show.

This time the one who took care of my makeup was ”la bella Gina” - as I was calling her - please check her page and her amazing work. As I was explaining her what I am thinking about my makeup, she immediately knew and she decided to create a fun, colorful, makeup look, where the accent was on my eyes.

The products that were used for my makeup:

Gina warmed up my skin tone a little, just like Christina did the other day. She created a colorful summer look, yet natural, ready to be worn in the Miami's hot and humid atmosphere at a fashion show. Maybe you have noticed that I was using again the mattifying powder and after using it for two days in a row, I do like how it worked on my skin, given the weather here in Miami.

And this was my final look.

Isn't that green utterly beautiful? I am so happy that now it is part of my makeup collection.

When I am at a makeup session, my blogger's nature comes out and I must ask questions about makeup techniques, products, take pictures, I have to know and to document everything. So, I took advantage that MUA Gina was doing my makeup and I asked her, what makeup products would she recommend for a fair skin tone like mine in this summer season.

My amazing adventure ended with the two fashion shows, part of the Mercedes-Benz Miami Swim Week 2014 that I've attended: one at The National Hotel, where I came to support my fellow beauty bloggers and another one at the W Hotel with the Inglot team.

Later at night I went to another amazing fashion show at the W Hotel South Beach. I had a fabulous time with the Inglot team back stage where they did all the makeup for the show, I've met amazing people like the famous artist Anastasia the Great who painted with 24k gold foil, Edward J. Oberle Lopez - the wonderful person behind this event and I had a blast at the show. I couldn't be more grateful for all this!

This past week had been an amazing one for me, it was like a beautiful and restful dream from which you don't want to wake up. I have so many wonderful moments to share with you, so this post will be structured in two parts.

Everything started with the Inglot Boutique Miami Beach Swim Week Beauty Lounge event, where I had such an amazing time, I was pampered with beauty makeup sessions (yes, sessions!), I got to play with makeup and test their products and, the best of all, I've met some great people that are now very dear to my soul.

Personally, I have heard of this brand before, I have read about its products, but never had the chance to test, try them. This event was the perfect occasion to get my hands on these products.

The Inglot Boutique is located in the heart of Miami Beach, on the 8th Street between Washington and Collins, to be more specific - 224 Miami Beach. The beauty boutique is the ideal place for a pampering makeup session, carefree, where all your problems, stress melt away. Everything invites you in, from the chic location, to glam and comfy decorations, to those awesome makeup products. It's like a mesmerizing journey into the world of colorful makeup.

Now let's talk about my makeup, shall we?

Beeing very excited to try the Inglot products, I talked to Christina - please check and support her page, she's an amazing makeup artist - to create my signature look, which is a natural one. When I saw their new Freedom System matte lipsticks, I immediately knew that it had to be a makeup with bold lips. Me & matte lipsticks = LOVE. Christina did an amazing job, it was definitely something new to try for me. I was so amazed by her incredible attention to details, patience (especially that my eyes were so sensitive when putting crayon on my waterline) and flawless work. I wish I could be as half as talented as her.

Because I am so fair, she went and warmed up a little my skin tone. Down below you could see the makeup products that were used for my makeup. I wanted very much to try their new mattifying powder. With all this crazy weather here in Miami, I need a good powder for my combination skin.

If you are wondering, the gorgeous lipstick that you see in these pictures (and you saw all over my Instagram account) is from the new Inglot range of Matte Lipsticks and this is number 516. No lady would miss a photo opportunity with Aaron :)

I just couldn't leave empty handed and abandon my beautiful matte lipstick behind, so I've bought my first Inglot products - the matte lipstick and a Freedom System palette so I can build my own customized beauty case. Suntem aproape de mijlocul lunii Iulie și vara și-a intrat încet, încet în drepturi, chiar dacă la început s-a arătat timidă, iar ploile n-au mai contenit. Cu siguranță, acum că ați scăpat de examene (fie ele de bacalaureat, fie cele de la facultate), sesiuni de licențe sau disertații, acum că sunteți în concediu, sau vă zboară gândul la vacanță, că sunteți pe o terasă și savurați o limonadă rece, sau la mare pe nisipul cel înfierbântat, pe pisc de munte admirând natura, sau la ștrand la o bălăceală, NU UITAȚI să vă protejați pielea de razele soarelui. Protecția solară este extrem de importantă în orice anotimp, și, așa cum v-am mai spus, trebuie să înțelegem că soarele este unul dintre pricipalii factori care mențin viața pe Pământ, dar, în același timp, este și unul dintre factorii cauzatori ai îmbătrânirii pielii, vrem nu vrem trebuie să fim conștienți de asta. 

Soarele poate fi și prietenul nostru cel bun, dacă știm cum să îi permitem acest lucru, aici reamintesc:  protecția prin folosirea de creme cu factor de protecție adecvat, pe care să le alternăm în funcție de sezon (eu, spre exemplu, în sezonul cald, folosesc creme cu factor de protecție solară de la 50 în sus, iar în sezonul rece, nu scad factorul sub 30!), evitarea expunerii îndelungate la soare, mai ales când nivelul de radiații este la cote maxime, purtarea de haine de protecție (da, există, haine care protejează împotriva radiațiilor solare), a ochelarilor de soare, a pălăriei.

Sunt tare bucuroasă să vă anunț că m-am numărat printre câștigătoarele campaniei de testare a noii game de produse lansată de Eucerin, cu acest articol - gamă dedicată persoanele care suferă de alergie solară - gama Eucerin Sun- Allergy Protection. Astfel, a ajuns și la mine un kit format din:

• Gelul cremă împotriva alergiilor solare FPS 25 

• Spray-ul transparent de protecție solară cu FPS 50 

• Gelul-cremă după plajă împotriva alergiilor solare

Inovația acestor produse, stă în formula avansată care are la bază două ingrediente active menite să lupte împotriva alergiilor solare. Este vorba despre:

• Alpha-Glucosilrutin (AGR) - un flavonoid obținut din arborele Pulmeria şi modificat biotehnologic pentru ca proprietățile sale antioxidante să limiteze formarea radicalilor liberi.  

• Licochalcone A - un ingredient natural extras din rădăcina de lemn dulce care, în urma numeroaselor studii clinice, s-a dovedit a avea multiple efecte benefice asupra pielii (rol anti-oxidant, anti-iritant, anti-inflamator).

Așa cum soarele mângâie gingaș cu razele sale frunzele acestei plante, oferindu-i hrana necesară pentru supraviețuire, am început și eu testarea noilor produse Eucerin pentru a mă reîmprieteni cu acesta.

După cum veți observa aceste produse vin în ambalaje practice, ergonomice, astfel concepute încât să permită o dozare optimă a produsului.

• Gelul cremă împotriva alergiilor solare FPS 25 - ”conferă protecție medie UVA/UVB (în conformitate cu recomandările UE) pentru pielea predispusă la alergii solare. Protecție dovedită împotriva alergiilor cum ar fi erupția polimorfă la lumină (EPL) sau acneea estivală.”

Eu am perceput acest produs ca fiind o cremă cu o textură lejeră, cu un miros discret, care pătrunde repede în piele. Mi-a plăcut faptul că pielea nu a rămas lipicioasă după aplicarea acesteia (am oroare de astfel de creme!) și nici nu a lăsat urme albe. Nu mi-a pătat hainele. Deși această cremă este rezistentă la apă, eu aș recomanda reaplicarea ei ori de câte ori s-a intrat în contact cu apa, chiar și în cazul transpirației. Deoarece are un factor de protecție mai mic, eu am ales să folosesc acest produs în zilele când evit expunerea prelungită la soare.

• Spray-ul transparent de protecție solară cu FPS 50  - ”oferă o protecție mare pentru corp. Datorită formulei lejere, este cel mai indicat şi pentru pielea acoperită de păr şi predispusă la acnee. Filtrele foarte eficiente UVA/ UVB (corespunzătoare standardelor UE) şi protecția suplimentară a celulelor din profunzime cu extract de rădăcină de lemn dulce garantează protecția împotriva deteriorării pielii induse de razele UV. Pielea este complet protejată - chiar şi în straturile profunde ale epidermei.” 

Acesta a fost produsul care mi-a stârnit cel mai mult curiozitatea. Este un fluid transparent, cu un miros plăcut, o textură lejeră, ce se absoarbe rapid în piele. Mi-a plăcut faptul că nu este un produs lipicios. Pompița din dotare permite o aplicare precisă. Din nou, recomand reaplicarea produsului ori de câte ori s-a intrat în contact cu apa, chiar și în cazul transpirației. Factorul de protecție mare îl recomandă ca un produs ideal pentru activitățile în aer liber.

• Gelul-crema după plajă împotriva alergiilor solare -”Ingrediente active: Alpha-Glucosilrutin (AGR), un puternic antioxidant obținut din plante, care împreuna cu vitamina E întărește sistemul de apărare propriu pielii împotriva radicalilor liberi, pe măsură ce cantitatea de radicali liberi nocivi crește din nou. Promite să ofere o îngrijire adecvată ce calmează și regenerează pielea afectată de soare.”

Acest produs are o textură de gel, care se aplică cu ușurință și intră repede în piele. Mirosul este unul plăcut. Îmi place tare mult efectul său răcoritor asupra pielii mele. Tind să cred că acest produs are și proprietăți de hidratare, căci pielea mea, de obicei uscată, îmi rămâne catifelată, plăcută la atingere. Îmi plac mult produsele care au o astfel de textură, sunt o adevărată binecuvântare de folosit după expunerea la soare. 

Pe final de împărtășit impresii, aș vrea să închei cu câteva concluzii:

• produsele Eucerin au la bază ingrediente active menite să lupte împotriva alergiilor solare

• ambalaje practice și ergonomice

• produse cu texturi lejere ce pătrund ușor în piele

• nu lasă pielea lipicioasă, nici urme albe

• aplicate corespunzător protejează pielea de efectele nocive ale soarelui

• produsele conțin alcool (personal evit aplicarea lor pe față, aplic doar pe corp)
