Hello everybody!


This season is all about nudes, whether you wear them on your eyes, lips or nails. I couldn't let this beauty trend go unnoticed. You know me as a huge lipstick lover, so I found another lipstick junkie just like me and we joined our creativity and ideas in this beauty collaboration to present our choices for nude lips. Although I love bright colors and I own mostly colorful lip products, I was very happy to find in my lipstick collection a few nice and tempting nudes to show you.

There are many ways to wear a nude. Even though we might consider as nudes - whites, pinks, yellows, beiges and browns, the beauty industry has proven us that with all these innovative technologies, there is more than the “classic” nude color and they invite us to play with a variety of shades that go against what we might originally consider nude. You might wanna take into consideration the blushing nudes - rosy sheer pinks or lush coral tints. And the innovation does not stop here.

I think women of all age and skin types can wear with confidence the “nude” trend. Simple, elegant, subtle, yet attention-grabbing, nude lipsticks and lip glosses are great for both day and night and are perfect for a dramatic eye or fresh-faced look.  
This season dare to wear nude, because nude is the way to go.

Bună tuturor! Hello everybody!

De astăzi, inaugurăm o nouă rubrică - On my lips - unde veți găsi adevărata mea obsesie și plăcere, totodată, rujurile, prezentate frumușel care mai de care. Am adunat de-a lungul timpului câteva și sunt gata să vă încânt privirea cu ele și să vă împărtășesc impresii.

Today we'll inaugurate a new section on my blog called On my lips, where you'll find my true pleasure and obsession, in the same time, the lipsticks, all very nicely presented. I have collected over the years a few lipsticks and I am ready to delight your view with them and of course, share my opinions about them with you.


Căutând pe net acum ceva vreme, noutăți despre rujuri, colecții nou apărute, am aflat că Maybelline a lansat o nouă colecție de rujuri și anume Maybelline ColorSensational Vivids Collection m-am tot rugat în gândul meu să le aducă și la noi în țară cât mai repede. Știți doar că multe produse pe care le-am văzut în străinătate nu au mai pătruns și pe piața din România, precum fardurile Color Tattoo sau balsamurile Baby Lips. Spre marea mea surprindere însă, aceste rujuri au fost aduse foarte repede.

As I was searching on the Internet some time ago news about lipsticks and some new collections, I found out that Maybelline had launched a new lipstick collection called Maybelline ColorSensational Vivids. I kept praying in my head: ”Please God, make a miracle and bring them to my country too as soon as possible!” Maybe you know, but many products that appeared abroad  were never launched in Romania, like the Color Tattoo's eyeshadows or the Baby Lips balms. To my great surprise, however, these lipsticks were brought here very quickly.


Nu puteam să las aceste frumuseți să-mi scape printre degete, așa că am și înhățat 3 nuanțe. Unele nuanțe se vând ca pâinea caldă, vă spun pe cuvânt.
Astăzi vă voi prezenta prima dintre cele trei nuanțe achiziționate: 904 Vivid Rose - Maybelline ColorSensational Vivids Collection. Am observat că numerotarea nuanțelor diferă față de cea din State, spre exemplu.

I couldn't let these beauties escape from my fingers, so I've bought 3 shades. Let me tell you, some of the shades were sold so quickly, like the hot bread.
Today I am going to show you the first shade from those three bought: 904 Vivid Rose - Maybelline ColorSensational Vivids Collection. I've noticed that the shade numbering differs from those from United States, for example.

Ambalajul rujului este cel tradițional robust cu care ne-a obișnuit brand-ul, diferă doar capacul, un roșu-portocaliu, deși parcă în poza de mai jos arată portocaliu.

The packaging is same sturdy, the traditional one, which the brand used us to it. What is different is the cover, a red-orange color, even though in the picture bellow it seems more orange.

Nuanța este extraordinar de frumoasă - un ciclamen/ fuchsia - potrivită a fi purtată mai ales acum când începe sezonul cald.

The shade is extremely beautiful - cyclamen colored/ fuchsia - ready to be worn in the hot season.

Opiniile mele:

• am fost uimită de pigmentația bogată a rujului, de ușurința cu care se aplică pe buze
• nu evidențiază zonele uscate
• consistența este una cremoasă, plăcută
• buzele nu mi s-au uscat cel puțin timp de 5 ore, chiar și în condiții de stat în vânt. Buzele mele sunt, de obicei, foarte capricioase și mereu, înainte de aplicarea rujului mă dau cu balsam de buze, tocmai pentru a evita uscarea lor. În cazul acestui ruj nu a mai fost nevoie. 
• rezistența la transfer este una medie spre mare. De dimineața de când am aplicat rujul, am băut apă, am mâncat de cel puțin două ori, iar nuanța aceasta încă mai rezista cu stoicism. Pătează paharul sau tacâmurile, dar nu foarte vizibil.
• persistența pe buze este și ea una destul de mare, de până la 7 ore, atât l-am purtat eu. 

Am rămas foarte impresionată de rujul 904 Vivid Rose - Maybelline ColorSensational Vivids Collection! Primește 8 din 10 puncte!


My opinions:

• I was amazed by its rich pigmentation, and by the fact that I can easy apply it on my lips
• does not show up the dry patches
• has a creamy, pleasant consistency
• my lips did not get dry for almost 5 hours, even in windy conditions. My lips are usually a little bit capricious, and  I must always apply lip balm before I apply my lipstick, mostly to avoid its dryness, but in the case of this lipstick it wasn't necessary to apply lip balm
• the transfer resistancy is a medium to high one. Since I've applied the lipstick, in the morning, I drank water, I ate at least two times, but this shade was still on my lips. It does stain on the cups or on  the cutlery, but not in a very visible way.
• its persistency on my lips is a high one, up to 7 hours, maybe more, but I wore it for that period of time.

I was very impressed by the 904 Vivid Rose - Maybelline ColorSensational Vivids Collection lipstick! It gets 8 points out of 10!

Vă las cu niște poze să-l admirați în toată splendoarea lui! (pe buze am aplicat doar rujul, NIMIC altceva!)
